Warragul is the commercial centre of Baw Baw Shire and the largest town at the western end of the run. It sits in West Gippsland dairy country, it has a hospitality strip that keeps the grease traps busy, and the residential fringe is growing fast enough that civil contractors are working there most of the year. It is far enough from the Maffra depot that we plan the work into a west-end run rather than answering it the same hour.
