Most people who call us own an aerated treatment system that is due for its two to three year service, or one that has started alarming. If that sounds like your situation, ring the office or send the details through the contact form and we will give you a straight price and a day.
What is included
- Pump out the sewage chamber (primary tank)
- Pump out the secondary tank where its condition requires it
- Clean and check the filter
- Empty and rinse the irrigation tank
- Check pumps, control panels and alarms, and report anything that needs servicing
- Transport the waste to a licensed treatment facility under EPA rules
- Provide a written record of the service for your files
Common questions
How often should a home sewage treatment plant be cleaned?
When the system is running properly, every two to three years, depending on the size of the plant. Leaving it longer lets solids build up, block the drainage and damage the system.
What are the signs my treatment plant needs pumping?
A flashing alarm light, a pump that has failed, water pooling around the system, or odours near the drains. If any of these show up, book a service.
How do I look after the plant between services?
Do not let surface water run into the system, do not overload it with high-volume discharges, and stay within the daily loading the plant is rated for. That keeps the biology working the way it is meant to.

Can I set up a regular service?
