Mac Waste Group is a proud partner of the Little Jem Foundation, which supports Gippsland families through the loss of a baby or a child. Together we have raised more than $300,000 for the Foundation so far, and this page is here to help spread the word.

Supporting Gippsland families in the worst moments
The Little Jem Foundation provides emotional and practical support to Gippsland families who have experienced the sudden loss of a baby or child, whether during pregnancy, as a newborn, or as a young child. Their work eases the burden on families during the hardest days of their lives.

Why We Give
Local Gippsland businesses have joined our Why We Give campaign to raise funds for the Little Jem Foundation. Each business picks its own way to contribute, whether that is a percentage of sales, a special menu item or a fundraising promotion, and every dollar of it stays in Gippsland.

How to join in
There are several ways a Gippsland business can contribute. Pick one that suits the way you already trade, or ring us and we will work something out together.
- Chip in program. Add a small amount per sale, per coffee, or per transaction. Even 50c an item adds up over a month.
- Percentage of sales. Donate a share of takings from a specific product or service.
- Special promotions. Run a limited-time offer with the proceeds going to the Foundation.
- Corporate sponsorship. Monthly or annual support at whatever level suits you.
- Fundraising events. Host something at your venue with Mac Waste Group's support.
Ring the Maffra office or send an enquiry and we will set the rest up. Every dollar above admin costs goes straight to Gippsland families, and business partners are acknowledged on our website and social media if they want to be.
